Samuel has over 4 years’ experience in risk management, review and evaluation of the internal audit function, board appraisal, internal control assessment, audit, forensics, accounting services, payroll services, regulatory compliance and reporting and has worked across the financial sectors, energy resources industries, NGOs, and telecommunication industries. Samuel in various engagement performed the previous listed functions for top-rated institutions in Nigeria including MTN Nigeria Communications Plc, Wema Bank Plc, Okomu Oil Palm Co Plc, Presco Plc, Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Plc, Impact Credit Guarantee Limited and Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.
Samuel as the team lead at Grant Thornton, facilitated the delivery of various accounting services, high level review of transactions, forensics, financial statement preparation, and payroll services and statutory registration of clients and other consultancy services etc., based on global best practices for the firm.
He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt (2016). He is also a member of the institute of internal auditor (IIA), Associate member of Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
