Chinedu Ozioma is an experienced environmental and social scientist/consultant specializing in ESG matters. As the ESG Manager at HSF, she integrates sustainability considerations into the company’s operations, provides strategic guidance, and implements initiatives to enhance sustainability performance. Chinedu has a proven track record in advising and de-risking projects in sectors such as oil and energy, infrastructure, real estate, and utilities.
Previously, Chinedu worked as an E&S Safeguards Scientist at AquaEarth Consulting, where she was responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating permitting for significant capital projects. Her expertise in environmental and social safeguards ensured compliance with regulations and minimized associated risks.
Chinedu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. She has also obtained over ten certifications from esteemed institutions, including the World Bank, United Nations, IFC, and GEF. These certifications have enhanced her knowledge in areas such as sustainability, environmental impact assessment, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
